Step 1. Start Variations
- (Windows PC)
Variations can be accessed from the start menu. To find it, click on Start -> Programs -> (find the appropriate folder) -> Variations Digital Music Library.
If you've installed Variations yourself, Variations should be in its own folder in your Start menu, and a shortcut to start Variations should be on your desktop.
- (Mac)
On the OS-X Macs Variations will be located in your Applications folder. Locate and Double click the Variations program Icon
If you've installed Variations yourself, the Variations program icon will be in your Applications folder or wherever you installed it.
Step 2. Login with your college network ID and password
- After several moments, the Variations login window will appear:
- In the "User Name" field, enter your college network ID.
- In the "Password" field, enter your college network password.
- In the "Domain" dropdown, choose your college (Bryn Mawr, Haverford, or Swarthmore).
- Press the "Login" button. After several moments, the Variations search window will appear.
If the login window does not accept your normal user name and password, please contact Variations support.
An Alternative: Hyperlink Access
A particular spot in a Variations item can be accessed directly from a hyperlink. If you click on one of these links or on a Variations bookmark that has been exported to a web page, you will start Variations. After you log in, the audio or score you requested will be presented.
